Question: What has been updated in version 5.0?
Answer: Caricature Studio 5.0 has been completely overhauled as a full suite of tools designed to create novelty images for consumers, and for live event vending. We've added many new features, and made great improvements to existing features to produce better quality images. We've spent several months working on version 5.0 with the intent to offer the best, most comprehensive novelty photo software available.
Question: I purchased a previous version of Caricature Studio. Is version 5.0 a free upgrade?
Answer: Caricature Studio 5.0 is not a free upgrade. However, if you purchased a previous version of Caricature Studio you are entitled to a substancial discount. See the get it now link for more information.
Question: I am interested in Caricature Studio for live event vending or commercial use. Is this possible?
Answer: Please note that the version available here is not licensed for any type of commercial use. It is licensed for a single computer for personal use only. If you are interested in using Caricature Studio 5.0 for business purposes, we do have a commercial package available that includes a business start-up guide and full, unrestricted access to all novelty templates available in the template store. The business start-up guide details all of the equipment needed and usage, how to set up your vending booth, lighting, green screen, and more. Please email us for details.
Question: Will I receive Caricature Studio 5.0 on CDROM?
Answer: The preview version is available only as an instant download, however a CDROM version will be available when version 5.0 is officially released in June. If you'd like a CDROM for a backup copy, you will have the option to obtain one for a small shipping fee, after the official release.
Question: Where can I find more novelty templates?
Answer: The Caricature Studio Store will offer hundreds of themed novelty templates for different occassions. To access the store, click the "Browse Templates Online" link in the Template panel, or go here to visit the store online. The store is new and we're still in the process of adding templates, so check back soon for new designs!
Question: How do I access my download?
Answer: At the conclusion of checkout you will be directed immediately to the download page. After submitting your email address you will receive the link. Please note your email address is not collected for any other purpose except to generate an automatic email with the download information and instructions. We do this so that you have a copy of the download information and instructions as a backup.
Question: I purchased a previous version but my software says I'm not registered?
Answer: Your old registration code will not work on version 5.0. Enter the registration code provided with your download link and in the email you receive following checkout. Please note that the code is case-sensitive.
Question: I'm an artist. Can I make my own novelty templates?
Not only can you make your own templates....you can get paid! We are accepting affiliates who are interested in selling templates in the Caricature Studio Store. You will benefit from thousands of daily visitors looking for fun themes and designs. For consistency, we do have guidelines regarding image size and resolution, and we will evaluate each submission for inclusion in order to retain a standard of quality.
